Dr. John Pritchett

Dr. John Pritchett has been the President of Pritchett Orthodontics, practicing orthodontics on the east side of Indianapolis and Greenfield since 1997. Since 2009 he has owned/managed Cherry Tree Professional building that houses 6 separate dental practices.

Dr. Pritchett received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1994 and was awarded Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Honorary Dental Society for top 5% of dental students across the country). He completed his orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina in 1997 receiving his Master of Science Degree and Orthodontic specialist certificate. He was awarded the Outstanding Research Award for his master’s thesis on pain perception. Since then he has been awarded membership in the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists for Leadership and Service in the dental field.  Acceptance of membership in these groups is less than 2% of the dentists nationally and worldwide.

He has been active in leadership in several dental organizations. He is the past president of the Indiana Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped, an organization that has donated over 20 million dollars worth of dentistry for the state of Indiana to date. He also served as past president of the Indiana Association of Orthodontists, Hoosier Orthodontic Forum, and Eastside Dental Study Club.

He is currently on the Speedway Action Committee in charge of obtaining lap sponsors for the Indy 500 and donations to the Speedway Museum for the Brickyard 400. In the past, he has been a part of the Marlin Jackson charity board, Dale Davis charity board, and Yasiel Puig’s charity board. 

Locally, Dr. Pritchett is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy Foundation working to promote greater understanding and support of the FBI. He is also a Charter Member of the Eastside Kiwanis Chapter. He has also been active as a Sunday School teacher in his church. In his spare time, Dr. John enjoys scuba diving with his daughter, Colts games, and horse racing. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Indianapolis and have a daughter Gabrielle.
